The Constable's Tactical Team (TAC-Team)

The Constable's Tactical Team (TAC-Team) is a police tactical unit of Precinct 7, which consists of an emergency response team of highly trained and skilled Precinct 7 Deputies, who volunteer for team assignments.

This unit is deployed as a direct result of numerous community complaints regarding specific high-risk and potentially dangerous situations.  This six-member unit responds to a variety of conditions such as criminal activity, execution of warrants, special enforcement operations, prostitution stings, drug activity and natural disasters.

TAC-Team members are selected to handle incidents beyond the normal capabilities of regular police functions.  The TAC-Team unit members deliver mental, physical and tactical preparedness, while providing specialized services in support of the Harris County Constable's Office of Precinct 7.
