JOB TITLE: Project Manager – Primary Care Access

EDUCATION: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Policy or Social Services is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three years experience in a management role within a non-profit organization providing ambulatory care to underserved populations, preferably within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
JOB SKILLS: Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Visio and mapping).
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for implementing, coordinating and monitoring all aspects of the Alliance’s primary care access expansion activities. Works closely with and reports both to the Executive Director of the Alliance and the leadership of the Health Centers Funders Collaborative. Works with local stakeholders, including philanthropic organizations, to develop and support a coordinated community wide approach to primary care that creates economies of scale by consolidating administrative and technology functions among health centers. Improves health center performance on key financial, clinical quality and patient experience measures. Improves horizontal and physical integration among primary care safety net providers. Works with the area FQHCs and other safety net providers to develop and implement strategies to increase capacity, improve access and overall performance at both the organization and system level. Collects, analyzes and monitors key health status, financial and operational data from area health centers. Monitors key policy developments affecting the delivery of an access to care for underserved populations; interprets policy developments and disseminates to safety net providers, funders and other stakeholders. Assists in the development of a health center funders collaborative and provides ongoing support by serving as a liaison with any evaluation or technical assistance providers engaged to achieve collaborative goals.
