JOB TITLE:              Seasonal Inspector Operator – Part-Time-Temporary

 

DEPARTMENT:      Public Health & Environmental Services

                                    Mosquito Control/ULV Night Operations

 

HOURS:                     As Required

Evenings Hours

 

SALARY:                  $9.00 Per Hour

                                    Based On 26 Pay Periods

 

EDUCATION:  High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.

 

JOB SKILLS:  A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.  Driver’s license record will be verified. Successful candidate must be able to read/comprehend road maps and chemical labels.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:  Operates various truck mounted and handheld spray equipment.  Works with control related chemicals and minimal direct supervision.  Performs yard work as assigned.  Performs other duties as assigned; including special tasks involved in responding to an emergency event.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Position will require lifting at least 75 pounds.
