SALARY: Commensurate With Experience Based on 26 Pay Periods
EDUCATION/ EXPERINECE/ JOB SKILLS: A four year college degree in Computer Science or related field is required. Three years of programming with focus on application development is required; experience developing for engineering or related field is preferred. A combination of education, experience will qualify.
Programming requirements: Must have recent experience with C#,. NET, HTML, JavaScript, a thorough knowledge of Visual Studio and the IDE (Integrated Development Environment) working within the Windows. Must have a working knowledge of various architectural platforms client/server, multi-threaded programming and distributed computing systems; a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motorized vehicle.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responds to inquiries and requests for application development or modification and provides working solutions; responds to request for website development or modification; applies best practices to all application development including extensive use of remarks and other documentation. Works closely with database administrators, systems analyst and other department personnel in order to obtain/create technical requirements and business processes for application creation or modification; responds to inquiries and requests for assistance with the organization’s computer systems or peripherals. Identifies problems, troubleshoots and proves advice to assist users. Coordinates with other IT section personnel to resolve problems.
