The Precinct 2 Civil Division is responsible for the service of Civil Process which includes, but is not limited to, Citations and other notices and writs.
 
The deputy's written return advises the respective court of the actions taken regarding service.

In addition to the service of Civil Process, the Civil division has Bailiff duties. 

These duties include maintaining order and courtroom security in the Justice of the Peace courts, maintaining all prisoners in the holding cells and carrying out any orders from the presiding judge.
