The Finnigan Park Project was created to meet the educational, recreational and social needs of the community  This depression-era (1939) park has been redesigned as a multi-purpose facility equipped to offer an array of health, social and recreational services for all ages.  This idea was conceived by Commissioner El Franco Lee and implemented by his talented and dedicated staff.

The Finnigan Park Project is a partnership between Harris County Precinct One, the City of Houston, and Houston Independent School District.
