There is no charge to use the boat ramps at Alexander Deussen Park.  Ample parking is available nearby.  Fishing is permitted from piers; fishing license is required.  Alcohol is not permitted on piers.  Lake Houston is patrolled by the Houston Police Department, Lake Patrol.
