Victor Trevino immigrated to the United States in 1958. He attended area public schools and he graduated from Austin High School in 1970. He graduated from the Houston Police Academy in 1976 and he served 13 years as a Houston Police Officer.
He continued his education by attending San Jacinto Junior College and he later received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston - Downtown.
In furthering his law enforcement career, Victor was elected as Harris County Constable of Precinct 6 in 1988. He has entered his 20th year of service as Constable, a post he has been elected to five consecutive times. He is licensed as a Master Peace Officer.
Constable Trevino and his wife Silvia were married in June 1972 and they have three children. The two are very proud of their family: Carolyn and her husband Michael with their beautiful children Michael David and Christopher Aaron; Victor Trevino, III, who recently graduated from the University of Houston; and Thomas and his wife Cristina with their lovely children Thomas Ray and Isaiah Gianni.
Silvia recently retired from the Houston Police Department where she served twenty years as a Peace Officer. She is now a Lieutenant with Harris County Precinct 7.
Constable Victor Trevino is committed to providing top-notch services to the community. It began many years ago as young assistance coach for his brother’s little league team, then serving as a religious-class teacher, and as a Houston Police officer serving as a community-service officer for many years.
