The contract performance reports provides the Command Staff and the contracting entity with a detailed report of the services provided by the Harris County Constable’s Office of Precinct Seven   specifically in reference to the quality of performance demonstrated by the personnel assigned to the Contract Division.  With regard to the specific contents of the report, there are 16 distinctive component parts of this report.  These components are enumerated below:

Each component is calculated separately to achieve the category totals.  A cursory analysis of the statistical data from this report demonstrates the quality of performance of this Neighborhood Contract Division in realizing the contractual goals and objectives established.  In addition, this report encompasses an incident summary category which provides a brief synopsis of any significant incidents that have occurred during the evaluation month.  A corollary of contract performance report is to establish personnel accountability and secure divisional and contract performance improvement.

I. Patrol Activity Categories and Totals: 382

Patrol Activity as it is used in this report has each Deputy traversing the assigned neighborhood making observations and taking necessary action in order to ensure the protection of residents, the preservation of the peace, and the prevention/suppression of crime in the area.   The activities that are preformed during the patrols are listed in the following table as types of patrol. The numbers given in the report are the total number of times the deputy has engaged in that activity either from the act of patrolling or from the deputy being summoned to the area.  The type of patrol activity and totals are listed in the table on a line beginning with an alphabet.

For example, Item G is Disturbance Calls followed along the line by each of the last three months totals, next is the total number of disturbance calls for the most resent month completed, and the last entry is the total disturbance calls for that same month a year ago. 

This format allows for the comparisons of current totals with the last 3 months trend and the total calls for the same time last year.

For example, Item 16 is an On View Calls where the Deputy witness the violation and took action, in Item 17 the Deputy was Dispatched to an activity to take some action, and in Item 18 Self Initiated is a call where the Deputy did not witness the violation however had probable cause to believe action was necessary.
